This week is Bullying No Way: National week of action (11 to 15 August 2025). At <school/organisation> we believe that when we #BeBoldBeKindSpeakUp, bullying has no place. What could you do to be bold, be kind, and speak up to help support someone you know?

Focus area social media posts

Day 1. Be Bold: You have the power to help
Being bold doesn’t mean putting yourself in danger – it means choosing to do what’s right. Standing up shows others that bullying is not accepted. Bullying No Way: National week of action

Day 2. Be Kind: Small actions make a big impact

Kindness builds connection, and connection helps stop bullying before it starts. Bullying No Way: National week of action

Day 3. Speak Up: Speak up against bullying
When you speak up, you become an upstander—someone who chooses to help instead of watching from the sidelines. Bullying No Way: National week of action

Day 4. Think before you post or speak

The words we use can build someone up or tear them down. That’s why it’s so important to think before we speak, type or post. Bullying No Way: National week of action

Day 5. Together, we can stop bullying – a whole of community approach

The best way to stop bullying is by working together. That means students, teachers, families, and friends standing up, speaking out, and supporting each other. Bullying No Way: National week of action

Tips for content accessibility

Use the following tips to help create inclusive content, so everyone feels they belong.

• Add alternative text or image descriptions for images and photos on your post. This is especially important if there are words in your image. The best way to do this is to simply write what you can see.

• Provide captioning on all audio and remember, if using auto-captioning, to review them before posting.

• Keep emojis to a minimum and only use at the end of a sentence or post.

• Remember to use capitals in your hashtags so that screen readers can distinguish the start of a new word, for example #BullyingNoWayWeek
