Workshop: Future-focused Teaching: Exploring Geospatial Technologies for Career Ready Skills and Innovation

Brett is a Queensland state school educator with over 20 years of experience successfully embedding geospatial technologies into his classroom practice and sharing his experience and resources with teachers around the state. In 2023, Brett and his students again won a number of STEM, education and planning awards for real world projects utilising geospatial technologies. Brett also works with geospatial industry to gain an insight into what is valuable for employers and to understand how rapidly technology is advancing in the workplace. Brett has a passion for introducing technology to students that prepares them for the future workforce knowing that the students are the real stars.
