Timothy Lever

Workshop: Deep Dive into Digital Learning: Empowering School Leaders

Timothy Lever is the current Head of IT at Pimlico SHS, a position he has held since 2022. His educational journey began with a Bachelor's degree in Professional Writing followed by a Graduate Diploma of Education. Initially starting his career as an English teacher in 2014, his interest and passion for technology led him towards IT. He began his position at a crucial time when EQ and online learning was transitioning from eLearn to QLearn and implementing a new version of the Australian curriculum. This gave him the opportunity to develop new teaching strategies and optimise student learning experiences to meet the changing needs of education in Queensland. As a leader, Timothy prioritises support and encourages skill building. He firmly believes in providing a strong base for his team, fostering an environment where they can adapt and strive for the best practice. His goal remains to effectively use technology to equip students for the future.
