Workshop: Enhancing Early Learning using Creative Approaches and Digital Tools 

Peter is passionate about teaching with mobile devices and believes that they can transform learning across the curriculum. He has a strong interest in coding and has worked with students as a Digital Technologies and STEAM Specialist on a diverse range of creative projects including Robotics, Green Screen, Stop Motion animation, Augmented Reality and Minecraft.

Peter’s most notable publications to date are ‘Creating Stories with ScratchJr’ and ‘Teaching with the iPad’ which focuses on the pedagogy of using the iPad in the classroom. He is an Apple Distinguished Educator, Apple Professional Learning Specialist, Apple Learning Coach, Book Creator Ambassador and one the inaugural Sphero Hero’s. In 2022 Peter was awarded the Peter Doherty Award for excellence in teaching STEM. Peter is currently a STEAM teacher and eLearning Coach at a Palmview State Primary School on the Sunshine Coast, Australia.
