Workshop: Building Bridges with Blocks: Strengthening STEM Skills and School Networks with Minecraft

Christine has thirty years teaching experience, predominantly in secondary. In the last seven years, Christine has worked with primary teachers to develop their digital pedagogy; roles have included ICT teacher,  Digital Pedagogy Teacher and eLearning Coordinator. To support her role, Christine recently completed a Grad Cert in Education - STEM in Education and am presently studying the Apple Learning Coach program. In her current role, Christine mentor and coach teachers in developing their digital pedagogy and capability; Christine also runs a Minecraft builders' club of approximately 60 students, along with junior and senior coders clubs (about 20 students). Along with the people side, Christine also managed the level 1 IT support and digital tools at Jindalee State School.
