Aliska Bierman is dedicated science teacher and Digital Learning Champion at Brisbane State High School, an Apple Distinguished School. She is known for her proactive approach to testing and adopting new digital technologies in the classroom and is passionate about leveraging digital resources for both students and educators. Aliska expertly designs and manages several QLearn blueprints, she is an Education Perfect Guru, and participant in the Cerego pilot trial.

She has a passion for using Technology in the classroom, particularly around how the iPad can be used to support classroom teaching and learning. Raechel is an Apple Teacher and Digital Learning Champion at BSHS.

Lauren Jones is a Senior Psychology and Junior Science teacher at Brisbane State High School which is an Apple Distinguished School. She is enthusiastic about using technology to facilitate student engagement and enhance learning opportunities. She also enjoys collaborating with colleagues to support their knowledge and application of educational technologies within and beyond the classroom.
Luen Tobar
Workshop: iLearn with QLearn on iPad
Luen is a Physics teacher who is passionate about active student engagement in and outside of class. Luen is constantly searching for ways to maximise student buy in, and removing barriers to student engagement in course content. In particular, he has a lot of experience in maximising the effectiveness of formative assessment, checking student understanding, and unique ways to maximise student involvement in the feedback process.
