Bullying No Way: National week of action 2026

Thank you for joining thousands of Australian schools for the 2026 Bullying No Way: National week of action.

Bullying No Way Week, from 17 to 21 August is about the important roles school, family and community play in helping young people feel accepted, respected and a sense of belonging.

You can help create positive action with students, school staff and your community for Australia’s key bullying prevention initiative.

Theme: Small Acts, Big Impact.

Our theme for 2026 is Small Acts, Big Impact.

What does it mean to practise Small Acts, Big Impact? Check out the 2026 Bullying No Way Week video.

Creating a safe and respectful environment is a shared responsibility, and small acts can make a real difference.

Small actions, like including someone, speaking up, or showing kindness can help create change. Actions don’t need to be big to change someone’s world.

Lasting change happens when schools build a culture that supports kindness and respect. Even small, intentional acts of kindness have a powerful ripple effect, building inclusivity and wellbeing.

This Bullying No Way Week, we’re asking students, schools, families and communities to consider their words and actions, no matter how small, and be proud to be kind, support someone, and speak up against bullying.

Find out more about this year’s theme and daily focus areas and how your school can be involved.
